exsanguinate? on sig shr 970
i really don't need a new rifle, but i found a sig 970 in 300 WM. there is ~1/3" of blueing worn off the sides of the barrel (? gun rack) and the front sling post is broken. is the rifle worth $300? how is the accuracy of the sigs?

DutchThey were closing the new ones out for a little over $500. Mine is pretty accurate (MOA). Only you can say if $300 is worth it... FWIW, Dutch.

djpaintlesMy SHR 970 in 300 mag is very accurate. Numrich arms is advertising replacement barrels (which bolt in) for $159.95. They are interesting accurate rifles that sell for over $1000 Euro in Germany. Use Browning A-bolt bases.......DJ

StoneybrokeI've got one in the safe that has never been hunted. It is 99%, with nice wood, in 7mag. The "blueing" is actually Iafalon, a form of teflon. I will sell the rifle, with 30mm Leupold rings and bases for $500.
