Ruger Frontier .358 Winchester..
..has anyone seen any?

Back in May I called the factory to see when they would be released. They said late June or early July...that day I went down to a large local gun shop and there on the shelf was a brand new one that had just been put out. It now resides in my safe...great shooter so far.

But in checking the auction sites and gun stores I have not seen anotherone even advertised for sale...or am I just missing them...

I must have been lost in a time-warp...I've never even heard of them. Can you tell us a little more about what they are...a modified M77, what?

I am a huge 35 cal fan , and the 358 winny might be favorite. I spent months hunting down a BLR in the 358 and finally found one in stainless. Awesome shooter and it's my favorite deer gun. It's really the gun of all my guns with the least power (I'm a medium/big bore fan), but it still might be my favorite.

I also have a ruger frontier in a 338 federal that I love... accurate as hell, even with the 17 inch barrel. They still sell the frontier 358's on Davidson's, but I don't know if they have any left.
