What is the parent cartridge for the 375 JDJ? I’m not finding this information anywhere I have looked.

The 375JDJ is a necked down 444Marlin.

Sorry for the dumb question guys, I change my Google search and found it. Does the 444 Marlin sound right?

You looking to build a Contender Carbine? I have a friend who I think has used this cartridge a litttle bit. I know for sure he has used the .358 JDJ in a Contender pistol, I watched him shoot his bear in AK with it. If you want I can put you in touch with him.

I’ve been thinking about something different. It sounded interesting as far as the animals it has killed. It wouldn’t be much more than a gun range toy. Anyone using it in a rifle length barrel that you know of?
