Just a post to inform the folks here that Eastcoaster passed away on 2/2/17. Bob posted a lot on 24hr Campfire under the name BobinNH. He was a friend and had considerable hunting experience in NA and Canada. Another one of the good guys is off to a better place, Godspeed my friend.

Damn it. Never knew him personally, but corresponded many times. Good, good guy who went out of his way to share knowledge. RIP.

RIP. Had many correspondences with Bob when I used to post a lot on 24hr and found him to be a wealth of knowledge and a good guy.

I was told on the phone that Bob had passed and was VERY saddened to hear it.

He was an excellent guy, wealth of REAL rifle knowledge and always friendly and a gentleman.

One of the best I have met on the gun forums.

We corresponded several times, always a super nice guy.

He will be missed.
