And yes, I know it's a 1896, not 1898! Big Grin

How hard is it to import one of these? Even in Euro's, the price looks very good to me.

I have several of the '96 based 9.3x57's and they are all very good shooters and easy to shoot. The scope rings should be easy to find for that side mount base.

Sid, try Allan's Armory or Kebco. Those are very nice rifles but that would be a bit high inthe American market for one in that condition. Very clean un-drilled Model 46s go for $425 -450, drilled and tapped drops it to $375-400. 250 Eruos is 350 dollars. That one migh bring $250 dollars here.
