338 Accubond
Just loaded up some 225 gr Accubond bullets in my 338 WM. Accuracy was superb - three shot groups way under an inch. Only comnplaint is that they hit two inches higher and four inches left of the 210 gr partitions.

Here is the data - again safe in my gun but may not be in yours

73 gr IMR 4350 - WLR Standard primer = 2850 fps = 0.750"
73.5 gr IMR 4350 - same primer = 2871 fps = 0.650"
74 gr IMR 4350 did not measure or group because I knew they would be too hot for my hunting load - so blew some water filled coffee cans at 200 yds - wow!

Decided to stick with the 73 gr load for hunting

Also shot a 3 shot group with the 210 NP using 75 gr of IMR 4350 - which usually chrono's out at 2970 fps - but I substututed the WLR primer for the CCI 250 Magnum primer I usually use. Didn't chrone because of moderate rain but the goup was about .600. Think I will stick with the WLR primer.

With a BC of .550 that 225 bullet should be a long range thumper - and flat shooting to boot.

Good job rifleman. I am waiting for my 1st box to try in my .338-06 & .338mag. I have tried the 160gr/7mm in my .280 & they shoot very well, although a bit slower than the same load w/ NPs.
