I do not own one, but have been testing a friend's Nosler Trophy Grade Rifle chambered in 7mm Rem Mag.

My over all opinion of the rifle is very good. I get to test lots of guns for folks and this one is quite good.

It never did want to shoot into the Nosler claim of MOA groups when using Nosler bullets. When I switched to Barnes TSX and Tipped TSX bullets the groups became much better.

The stock is very good at reducing recoil, but is slick in the hands, I can see having a problem holding that thing in a rain storm.

The trigger would be fine for most folks, but at a little over 3 pounds, it is a little stiff for me personally.

The action is quite smooth with a lock up like a vault.

The barrel cleans quite easily, must be pretty smooth.

All in all, a very good gun.

BighornBreath,
I've been waiting on my Legacy model since Jan. of 2011! They keep telling me they have wood stock problems?
It's a good thing I have patience!!!!

My understanding is that the Nosler rifles are built by Bill Wisemann of College Station, Texas, on the action that he designed. I could be wrong about that, but that's what I've heard.

I've never shot a Nosler rifle (or even handled one), but I own two of Bill's rifles -- on his action -- one in .416 Rem. and one in .300 WSM. They are both tack drivers, totally reliable and easy on the shoulder. They both are a bit on the heavy side for calibre. Both have synthetic stocks, so can't comment on the wood issue raised above.

But I wouldn't hesitate to have Bill build another one for me.
