Anyone own this rifle ? I am thinking of getting one in 30/06 as a driven boar hunt gun.

Mike, just make sure that the countries you plan to hunt in allow semi-automatic weapons.

Here in Germany they are only legal if you have 1 round in the chamber and 2 in the magazine for hunting.

Magazine size recently changed, and now there is no restriction on magazine size. But God forbid the man that loads more than 2 rounds in the magazine and 1 in the chamber.

Browning BARs were a common and popular hunting rifle in Spain, and I believe Portugal when I lived in Spain. So they are probably legal for a Monteria.
