bulldog563Nosler Rifles?
Has anyone handled or shot the Nosler Special Edition rifle (I think they call it a Model 48 but not sure) in 270 WSM? If so, what did you think of it?

LBGuyYeah, VERY overpriced if you consider a M700 or M77 can do the same thing.

overpriced.
You can say that again.
I'd rather have a custom built to my own specs than pay that ridiculous price.

Idaho Sharpshooterone mans' idea of a very nice semi-custom rifle. Not at all overpriced when you look at Kimber or Dakota or Brown, which is their competition. Comparing one to a Rem 700-series is like comparing a Ferrari Enzo to a Yugo...and picking the Yugo because it has a back seat and gets better gas mileage.

HarrisWithout getting into the push feed vs. CRF argument, I think Nosler Rifle is overpriced for what they offer. If PF floats your boat then you can get a rifle custom built by a good gunsmith on a Sako action for the same price as that semi custom. If you do your homework, you might even save some money for the scope as well.

JaywalkerI handled a Nosler Custom when I visited the Nosler store last August. I thought it was a nicely done piece, though I can't recall the price - $4000? I didn't think that was overpriced for a custom, wood-stocked rifle, FWIW. I did think it was one of the heavier rifles I've ever hefted, however - I think they told me it was over nine pounds.

bulldog563They do seem kind of pricey.
Jaywalker,
I think you are thinking of a different rifle. The one I am talking about weighs 5.75 pounds.
