Those are great rifles that often can be had for little at gun shows cause most folks don't know what they are. I had a featherweight Royal in 243 with integral muzzlebrake, loudest rifle I ever fired. Some have aluminum bottom metal, others steel.

I have the exact same rifle. If you need info on it, get the book "Bolt Action Rifles" by Frank De Haas. It has a large section on BSA rifles including the Royal. It has trigger schematics and all.
Sweet litte rifle. I used to have a majestic 270, as well.
