Remington LSS 7 RUM
I bought my dad a Remington Gray laminated stainless 700 in 7 Ultra Mag and it's become too much gun for him. It's left handed and has 53 rounds down the tube. I need to downsize to 270, so what would his gun be worth? I know the left-hand and caliber count against it. I will put it in the classifieds as soon as he "okays" it.

i had one like that except mine was right hand. the thing was accurate, but recoil and muzzle blast caused me to sell it. i got 600.00 for mine about 6-7 years ago. it too had a low round count like yours (less than 100 rds is not going to hurt the value). good luck on the sale of the rifle.

Have you considered mag-na-porting and installing a quality recoil pad? Muzzle breaks are awful, but mag-na-porting can greatly reduce the perception of recoil in some rifles, without the awful noise and muzzle blast.
