I have a 338-06 AI coming shortly, and thought before I check with Huntington's and some of the custom ammo houses, to see if anyone here has any they'd like to sell.

No, but Midwayusa.com has both dies and brass in stock.

I use Norma or the Weatherby (made by Norma) headstamped 338-06 AS brass and fireform the brass with medium/hot loads.

225gr Accubonds and the TTSX's is what I shoot. Right now loaded with Accubonds.

Crash, when I looked at Midway, they only showed a box of 500, but maybe the 20s and 100s were just out of stock. I've got an Arnold Arms (338-06) and a custom built by Mike Degerness of ABS on its way in 338-06 40 degree AI. Gotta get busy.

I have a set of RCBS 40 degree dies somewhere I'd let go but I'm out of town until Tuesday. All of my brass is 35 Whelan headstamped. I found it necked down fire formed nicely. Unless you need the right headstamp, 9.3 x 62 might do well if your chamber is on the big side of allowable tolerances.

"Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.
