.277 Matchking
I was wondering if anyone has used the 115gn Matchking in a .270 Win. The ad says they are for the 6.8 SPC and I cant seem to find if there is a difference between them. They are both .277 cal so ? They just tout them for the SPC.A friend of mine is wanting to use his .270 for coyote hunting and doesnt want to tear the hide up. I was thinking a matchking would be a good choice for this. If anyone has any better suggestions or loads for this application it would be great. (getting a different rifle isnt my choice he just wants to use what he has for now)

Bullets for the 6.8 SPC are indeed .277 cal and can be used in a .270 Win. Sorry, don't have specific experience with the bullet you asked about.

Thanx for the replies. I have loaded the 90 grainers with good results for groups but am afraid of blowing a hole the size of a Peterbilt through them. I was thinking the matchking would do less damage but still do the job being a .270.
