Another forum member asked about a new 7/08 in the Howa line up for this year.

I found another pleasant surprise!!!

While other manufacturers are dropping the 7 x 57 and the 6.5 x 55, Howa via Legacy is ADDing to their line of 6.5 x 55s.

YOU can order them for 2005 in Stainless and also with a variety of stock options, like the grey or brown Boyd's Stocks, plus even in a thumbhole design with either blued or stainless barrel and receiver IN 6.5 x 55!!!

I was the one asking about this a while back. I'm excited to hear this...looks like this may be my next rifle. Although that CZ Model 3 sure does look good...just wish it was made in something besides the short magnum calibers.

now if they would just put some more length on their barrels. That one issue has kept me away from their rifles. I want 24" minimum on anything i shoot and howa seems stuck on 22" for most of the good SA calibers.
