Stocking up on my 308 bullets
Just received 1000 Rem corlokts in 180 grain pointed soft point, and 1000 Rem corelokts in 170 grain round nose. They were about $140/M from Midway.
I missed out on $55/1000 Rem .358 158 grain jacketed soft points about 6 months ago from another supplier. I figured I could always get them. Next time I looked, coming back from a business project, they doubled in price.
With copper and lead prices climbing like a sonofagun, I figured it would literally be a beneficial investment.
I tell myself it's not "hording" it's "investing in the future." Now I just need to horde primers and powder-er, I mean "invest."

2ndtimerI just received a pair of 8 pound kegs of Ramshot TAC powder, along with 3000 small rifle primers from
Powder Valley I just told my wife that I saved about $100 or more by ordering it in bulk (the TAC is on special for $77.95 per keg). And small rifle primers are just not available anywhere around here at any price. I don't call it hoarding, I prefer to think of it as investing for the future, too!
