Bought this gun a month ago, and it seems to be a real shooter. Trigger needs some adjustment, but everything else seems very close indeed to my pre 64. This gun feels good, and is light enough to be really comfortable to carry. Mine is a 308.

Anyone adjusted one of these triggers yet?

Is it the newest M70 or the Connecticut made M70?

I've got one in 06. It wouldn't shoot groups at all when I bought it. After recrowning and bedding it shoots way sub MOA I really like the rifle a lot.

It's the newest Model 70, I think they're made in South Carolina. I know it was made at the new plant.
