I can't help you with the 9.3 but I tried the 185gr in my 338/06 and they didn't group worth a darn. Maybe I didn't find the right powder and charge combo with them but that rifle will generally shoot about anything pretty well. I just don't have any luck with the mono metal bullets in my rifles.

30+ years experience tells me that perfection hit at .264. Others are adequate but anything before or after is wishful thinking.

Id like to try the 250 GMX in my 9.3 but have yet to see them in stock.
My sons .280 shoots the 139 grain GMX into tiny groups, sub 1". He has only shot one deer with it a Mule Deer buck at 325 yards, perfect performance, bullet exited and Deer died quick.
Give the 250's a try in your 9.3 I really doubt you would have any complaint.
I'm not typically a Hornady fan but the GMX is completely different than their other bullets.

Most of the fun is in the experimenting of new bullets and the knowledge gained good or bad IMO..Id sure give them a try for accuracy, loading data, and on game..Thats half the hunting experience IMO. For years I seldom used the same rifle, caliber, or bullet more than 3 or 4 times on game..in later years I mostly repeated myself as I ran out of stuff to play with and stuff I didn't want to play with.

That said Ive used the 9.3x62 and 64 enough to know that a 232 gr. or 250 gr. makes a decent long range gun out of the short range 9.3s..

I loaded some 232 gr. bullets for a friend for deer, I think they were GSC but wouldn't swear to it..I know he has killed a dozen elk with 230 to 250 gr. bullets at around 2600 to 2700 FPS with such..

I would not hesitate to shoot elk with a 250 gr GMX..
