Hey, I'm all for the freedom of anyone who wants to own 6 '06s to do so, but I'm w/ you. To me, having multiple rifles in the same caliber (and even the same bore diameter pushing the line) isn't a harem, its like cloning the same woman 6 times! VARIETY is the spice of life.

A gun does not have a high overhead to maintain. Like multiple wives.

Pop, I have two .30-06s, two .270s (plus one more in progress), four .300 Win. Mags., and three .338 Win. Mags. This does not count single-specimen chamberings....

And I need all of them, and I don't apologize for a single one of them. In fact, I'm thinking or ordering yet another .375 H&H and yet another .300 Win. Mag. as I write this.......
