Winchester New Haven value
All,

I was looking at a New Haven Classic this morning in 270 Winchester. Beautiful blued gun with not a scratch on it. The bolt was smooth, the safety excellent. The stock was said to be a factory stock (synthetic) but did not look like a factory stock though I could be wrong.

Shopkeeper was asking $519 for it. Presuming my description is accurate does this price sound in line?

Thanks.

For a Classic with CRF, that sounds about right. For the older push feed, I subtract $100.

The only problem is that it is still a .270. Smiler JUST KIDDING!

That's a solid price.

I would buy it if I saw it. Excellent price.

I'd say that's a good price!
Bet it wasn't at Kittery Trading Post...or was it?

Sound on the cheap side actually.

I would think $600-650 or so.

I can't remember the last M70 CRF which had a price starting with a 5.

Yep- when I worked in Newington, I used to scoot over there every so often at lunchtime. Once in a while you can find some good deals there.
