It should be a great rifle, and I really like the over-all configuration. If you buy one and it doesn't shoot to your liking, you can always send it down to Hill Country Rifles for an accurizing job.

Not CRF but the Remington CDL's look pretty nice. The Forend is painted though.

I got my Dad a M70 like that a few years back. It shoots extremely well and he likes it plenty.

A bit heavy for my liking but to each his own.

That's my only complaint....a tad heavy.....but that's a preference thing.....some may like it that way
The stocks are semi fancy too.....meaning fancy one side only
