Varget and 35 Whelen

Using a 250 Grain Round nose I’m finding my 35 Whelen is doing best between 54.0 and 54.5 grains of Varget with Remington 9 ½ Pr.

Question:
You gentlemen, who use Varget and similar weight 250’s I’m Curious of how many grains (Varget) you use to get your sweet load?
