<9.3x62>I love the idea of an 8x60S, though I have had substantial difficulties getting one built here stateside, so it may have to remain adoration from afar. My custom 8x57JS is a sub-0.5 MOA shooter (5-shots), so I have great affection for it as well...

<eldeguello>My favorite 8mm is the 8X60RS, just because it is the only 8mm I have. (J.P. Sauer double.) BUT, I think either the 8X75RS in a double or the 8X68 RWS would be fantastic calibers!
I see no justification for the old .318" bores, though!

TomHI vote for the 8x58RD as it is the only 8mm cartridge that I own.

mehulkamdarHad to be the 8x57JS - it is the only one that I have.
I don't believe the conspiracy theiroes - almost every member at the rifle club that I go to has at least one.

Good hunting!

monteroJohan,
The 8x64 Brno is a gun I like and that shoots very well (anybody heard about a Brno that did not shoot well?) but I do not know if it'll stay long with me...
I am now working on another 8mm MAZON using that FN-Husqvarna action you know about and I am installing a new scope on my 7x64 Schnauer with the pricey claw mounts and I don't think I can stretch my piggybank that much...
I still keep, and will forever, my father's Sauer-Weatherby in 8x68S with which three generations of Mazon have hunted (my father, my brother and myself, and my son).
8mm diameter is well represented already in my gun rack

and I'd better make some room for the 8WSM-S

No .30s around, sorry...

Best regards,
montero
