Anybody here have any expirence with the Win coyote in 300 wsm? My father has a coyote in 22-250 and it shoots awesome was thinking bout the 300 for deer and such. Any expirences? Particulary with the CRPF?

Teal325-

I had one in 300wsm for about a month. Probably a fluke, but it didn't shoot worth a damn. 3-4" groups were the norm, even after bedding. I ended up trading it for something else. The fella that got it figured he could make it work. It wasn't worth my time. I know that this particular gun was more than likely not the norm. You probably won't have the same experience. sorry I couldn't give a great review, but that's been my experience. I'm sure that there are more good ones than not out there. Good luck to ya.

Yea that could be the exception not the rule- the 22-250 put em into a nickle/quarter on a reg basis. Could be my handloads!!

Andrew,

My brother in-laws wife uses one. She gets better accuracy than her husband does with his .300 Win. Mag. M70. I was going to get one until I got my Savage M10 in .270 WSM. Glade I did because that Savage groups them right at 1/2" out of the box. Lawdog

Well I am usually a Ruger man myself- SS with lam. I just love the ss lam combo. Like the looks of the Win and prices seem to be pretty close to the Ruger.

I have a coyote in 243 win and it doesn't shoot very well really. It does alright, inch and a half is pretty normal. Under an inch if things are perfect but rarely is it consistent.
