Is Remington still making the Model 7?
I have been researching them on here, and looking on their website, but can't find anything listed there. All I see is the 700.

I have a model 7 in 300 wsm I'm considering buying, nice stock etc, and was looking on their website for specs etc, and nothing is coming up.

Tom S, how are you liking the 300 wsm, and the gun overall. Is it a shooter?

In a nearby Gun Store, there is a Remington Model 7 in caliber .350 Rem. Magnum. Didn't know they made a model 7 in .350 Mag. It has been sitting there in the store since last May, and I am not even sure .350 Mag. ammo is still being loaded.

In my opinion, the Model 7 is best matched with smaller rounds. I've had a model 7 in 243, 250 Savage, and 7-08 and I don't think I'd want to feel the recoil of anything larger than that, especially the 350 remington. I think the Magnums are a better fit in the full size 700 model. The Model 7 is a whippy little gun that is great for some purposes, but not all.
