Can you mount a scope on a Husky 146 to clear the original bolt handle and have any hope of getting a cheek weld? I'm planning on using an old Leupold M8 3X. The safety can be dealt with, but am I going to need a new bolt handle? I love the lines and handling of the rifle but if I am going to use the rifle in the morning and evenings, I need a scope on it.

No most scoped ones are bent or replaced. You can use a aimpoint (none or 2x) or a scout rifle scope.
