I have a Browning BAR ShortTrac (wood) in 300WSM that needs to go. I purchased it last year at this time. It has only been fired at the range off a bench. The rifle still looks new. I am going to sell it or trade it off. It would be nice if I had a rough idea as to what the trade in value of this rifle is.

as with a used car, you'll make more in a private sale. as a trade in, they'll give you a % of what they can sell if for. so if it was say....750$ new, they might go 585-615$ used, and you'll probably get 300-400$ trade in value. Now if you private sale that gun, you might be able to get near 600$. I have no blue book values to back it up, i'm just giving you a general idea
