ReloaderThe new Smith and Wesson Bolt action.....
Anyone held one?
Quality? What action or copy are they using?

I posted awhile back on a press release re: the 'I-Bolt' which is different than the ICON by TC. SO, even though S&W bought TC, they are 2 different rifles, like the ICON, nothing appeals to me on the I-bolt. They are both different IIRC, but the ICON resembles some European designs I have seen.

ReloaderJust like alot of these new guns coming out, you really can't tell how "cheap" they are until you hold one.
The picture looks ok in the ads but, I'm wondering if it looks and feels like a cheapo up close.

DwightI have one of their older bolt guns from about 25 yrs ago that shoots really good but nothing really special about the way is made. I haven't seen a new one yet either.
25 yr old S&W is I believe a Howa/Weatherby bbl action.
The I bolt looks cheap to me, at least the finish, BUT the ICON I held at the SHOT show and it was well made/finished IMHO.

Big Bore Boar HunterI haven't seen their new bolt yet, the local rep hasn't gotten to play with one yet. I did get to play with the new side by side, really well made in Turkey for about $2k.

nordrsetaOnly seen pictures in the gunrags but it's a good thing "pretty is as pretty does" because it's certainly no fun to look at.
