STd primers 56 grains of IMR 4320 or RL15 250 grain Speer
Std. Spitzer good load in 3 Whelens so far 2450 to 2487 FPS
Safe in my rifles but work up to it in yours. I use Rem.
Whelen brass.

for deer the sierra 225 boat tail with the max load of rl15 is instant death

If you were to do a search in the 'Your Favorite Loads' section of this forum using .35 Whelen as the key phrase, I'll bet you would find dozens of suggested loads.

For myself, I like RL15 with 225 and 250 gr bullets. With this powder I can achieve 2700 fps and 2600 fps respectively with ease.
