CZ 550 with round top receiver.

At a gun shop today I saw a 550 (270 win) american with a round top receiver that was drilled and tapped for a scope. Is this normal for the American. If so what bases fit the round top receiver?

This is the minnesota model and it can take M700 bases & rings I beleive. I personally prefer the integral SQ bridhe CZ 550's.
