Thats way I use the 06 it does what the three mentioned obove do in one case 130 ttsx=7-08 165=308 200/220 =338fed.only real defernce is a longer bolt cycle in the 06

fgullaOf the three rounds stated there is very little difference in the field. One must cater the round to the animal and the type of hunting that one is doing. For instance- if i were hunting black bear in very thick woods i would want a 338 federal because it WILL open up a bigger wound with more blood that will hit the ground to make for easier tracking. On deer sized critters any of the three will do the job, just remember most game animals are shot within 200yds so long distance energy and velocity mean very little in the real world.
