.338 Speer Deep Curl projectiles?
Am looking for a cheap practice/light game hunting bullet for a .338-06. Anyone try the Speer 225 gr Deep Curl .338 rifle projectiles?

There not that cheap! they are a Speer premium..shoot the Sierras, the 210, 225, 250s are the least expensive and as a matter of fact they work quit well on deer and even elk..Lots of local friends use Sierras on elk in their 338s and 375s

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

The 225 Gr Speer DC shoots great in my 338 RCM with RL 15 under 1/2 inch on
2 loads.

If you want a 225gr the Speer DC is hard to beat at around $16.95. Grafs also has the Speer 200 at the same price.

I happen to shoot Nosler 2nds in mine. Shooters Pro Shop has the 180BT for $17.95 and Accubonds for $21.95. I catch them on sale and in stock and stock up with several years worth. The shipping is basically the same for 1 box or 6.

As usual just my $.02
