raybassHowa 1500
Well guy's took your advice and bought a 270 wsm in the howa and I'm happy! Bought the rifle the other day, went home scrounged around the house found some bases ,rings an old reliable redfield and some factory loads that were left over from my brother,s old rifle. Wow this thing shoots! I had five BT's and eight 140 gr. failsafes. Used the bt's to get the rifle close to center. Then started on the failsafes, first three shot group right at "1 INCH" adjusted the scope for two inches high, second group 3/4" !!! Recoil was pleasant, rounds cycled perfectly but I will replace the stock with a bell and carlson. Just had to let you guy's know I think this is a keeper.

45/70 Govt.Howa makes the Weatherby Vanguard, which I recently found in a pawn shop -- 30-06, Leupold 3-9 40mm, 20% off, excellent condition.
Yeah, "keepers."
