<Christian>9,3*92M wildcatted to 6,5-6 mm?
What do you guys think I have a M98 in 9,3*62 that I would like to make into something with more speed and less thump, I already have a 9,3 in perfect working condition and dont need another one.
Would a 6mm*62 be god way to go, I know that its close to a 25-06 but if I use the 9,3*62 case I wont have to change to much in the mag box and the feeding rails...
Please advice Chris

<Kimmo E>Get a 6,5*65 it is based on (9,3*62 or 7*64)7g loaded to 1000m/s by rws.
Or a 6,5*06 or 6,5*06imp.
6mm-9,3*62 is really to overbore.
maybee a 6mm-6,5*284norma is option?

Curtis_Lemaythere's a fellow on the gunsmithing board who has a similr idea he has a barrel for a 6x61 cartridge, maybe that'll help you along your way.

The cartridges you want to make it's invented , it's the 6 x 62 Frres , based on the 9,3 x 62 case ( not the '06 ), you'll see in :http://home.snafu.de/l.moeller/6x62Freres.html
