7x57hunterCustom German Mauser info
Hi I recently purchased a Mauser sporter that has J. Albrecht, Detmold written on the top of the barrel. The workmanship is excellent and I would like to know more about it.
Thanks,
Jon

quattro77I believe, J. Albrecht is or was gunsmith in the german town Detmold, in Ostwestfalen (Northgermany).

carcano91This gunmaker does not exist anymore. Give Deckert in Detmold a phone call, they have been around the block a long time and they should know, if anyone does at all.
