Hi,

The Trophy Tipped bullet is still fairly new.
Anyone have experiences of the lighter load (2700 fps) of the 180grs bullet?
How has it performed on game? Would you use or recommend it for large game?
For some reason, although the bullet ought to be a big game bullet, Federal's website lists this as "medium game" load. Any idea why?
The AccuBond is listed for "large, heavy game". I'm under the impression these bullets are in the same league.

I use the Federal 180 grain trophy tips out of my 300 RUM I used them on whitetail and antelope and am happy with the results doesn't tear up alot of meat

Didn't get to use the ammo on game, yet, but it performed well on the range in my Tikka T3 Sts Lite.
