Thank you Saeed! We really needed this forum topic.

Just a note of appreciation. I'm really into bolt rifles of all descriptions but I find myself loading for and shooting my 338-06 more often than everything else combined.

I echo Wildcatter's sentiment - a middle bore forum is needed.

Can we agree that 9.3's (.366 bullet diameter) should be included in the definition of "medium" also? .008 inches past .358?

There has to be a cut-off somewhere, but I really think 9.3's are middle-bore rifles.
