Has anyone tried the 180gr GMX or TSX in the big 8? How do they stack up compared to the 200gr Accubond?

All three well kill anything you want to shoot with them.

I would use the most accurate of the three

Ian The 200 gr TSX shoots so well in my 8mmRem that I don't load anything else. Shoots tight little groups. I've never recovered a bullet but they are effective

Hi snowman,

What powder are you using with the 200gr TSX?

IanD My 8mm is a stock barreled 700 with 24 in barrel. I have found that Rem cases Fed 215 primers and 82 grs of RL 22 with the 200 gr TSX groups under 3/4 inch @ 100yds. This is MAX and would suggest you work up from about 77 grs in your rifle. RL 25 also works well but will not group as tight as RL 22 in my rifle. My rifle will handle a max load of 88 grs of RL25. Again work up from about 82 grs. If you have a 26 in or longer barrel the RL 25 may be better but I would suggest staying with RL22 if you have a 24 in barrel. Hope that helps
