Magnum,

I don't handload myself, seldom do I have the time. My brother in law worked up this Nosler 130grBT load for me 10yrs ago. He used H4831 powder and the velocity is at 3100fps. My sight-in has been 2.5" at 100yds which allows me to hold on fur for most of the shots at deer. I use this rife/load mostly on the ranch for coastal blacktail deer.

Best regards,

I am sure this would be a much greater pleasure than getting the buck with any new custom rifle at any price! May you get your 100th with the same old and faithful rifle and post here about it when you do.

Good hunting and congratulations!

Hi HtgAtty,

From pigs to elk and everything in between, for more than 25 years the .270 served me like no other with lots of memories to share. If you do your part the .270 is an excellent killer. This great classic and superb Cal is as American as Apple Pie and Grandma.
Congratulations with your 50th Buck.

Success,

Roland
