WillAt least the guy is honest enough to explain accuracy. When someone talks about the accuracy of a rifle, what does it really mean? Different power scopes, wind, etc., etc. all affect the repeatability of shot to shot.
When accuracy is spoken about rifles, it is not really accuracy but repeatability is what should be referred to.

Bear in FairbanksGood and interesting article. However, I'd like to see what the American manufacturers products can do - except Savage, of course. You covered them. How about Rem., Win., Weatherby, and, lets not leave Kimber out of the equation.
Anyway, a good article & an eye opener.

montdougGreat article! If there were more articles of this substance in today's gun rags I might have to resubscribe to some of the magazines I've dropped all of over the years.
Thanks for sharing that with us!

Donald NelsonGreat article to bad all those rifles except the CZ are so ugly. I might have to change my tastes in how a rifle should look though.

SlattsExcellent article. Should I cancel my order for that McMillan stock I intend to mate up with my 700 barrelled action!?!? Ha. Probably not, but once again I'm intrigued by Savage though I haven't been able to bring myself to buy one of 'em yet.

505EDI shot in a friends TC Venture in a 30/06 for him as he does not like to go to the range. That was the most accurate gun out of the box I have ever shot.
I shot 4 3 shot groups that measured under .7 with 2 different factory loads
Pretty good!
