Finnlight vs the Syn. Stainless
Okay, other than the fluted barrel and different color stock what else is different between the 85 Finnlight and the 85 Stainless Synthetic?
Is the Finnlight a higher quality model? Do they compare in accuracy? Just trying to figure the reason for the price difference. Thanks.

Same accuracy guarantee, 5 shots MOA at 100yds before they leave the factory. The 85 Synthetic Stainless weighs the same as the 75 Finnlite but the 85 Finnlite is lighter (apx .1 kilograms on some models)

The Finnlites have fluted barrels and Aluminum trigger guards.

The "S" action Finnlites have 515mm barrels (20 1/4") vs either 510 or 570mm barrels in the Stainless Synthetic versions (20" & 22 7/16").

Some models of the Stainless synthetic can have barrels threaded for suppressors: calibers 338 Federal, 8x57IS, 9.3x62 and 9.3x66 M15x1, other calibers M14x1.

Not huge differences....................DJ

+1 on what DJ said, pretty much nailed it. I don't have the synthetic stainless but i have the 85 Finnlight in .308 and I absolutely love it. It's a tackdriver. Ergonomically it fits me very well and the comb on the stock is quite comfortable.
