You mean you actually eat those deer and goats? Yuk!

I actually had my 9.3 along this year for the deer hunt but never took it out of the case. Guess I am stuck with my .280. It has never failed me, to date anyway.
Give me that beef that comes on those little foam trays, wrapped in Saran.

But I once worked up a very accurate load for a friend's No. 5 Lee-Enfield jungle carbine using a 200-grain Nosler Partition .308" dia. bullet and IMR 4350 that shot 1" groups @ 100 yards, and had a MV of 2100 FPS. He killed deer and elk with this load, mostly 1-shot kills. Examining the wound cahnnels in these critters, you would not have realized the bullet was moving that slow.....
