Whittaker Guns. Rem 700 CDL 35 Whelen unfired in box $479.

Im not interested in this. But it seems to me like a lot of the members on here like the Whelens.

In the used guns section but is unfired in box.

I dont have any ties with these guys.

Thanks for the link. I'm not interested the Whelen, but they do have some good prices on Kimbers.

I have bought several of my rifles at Whitakers. I was there two weeks ago buying powder and primers. He said he sells 20,000 guns per year. He will not come off his price, and you will not beat it 99% of the time.

I bought a gun (Cooper) from Whittaker last year, or the year before last. I don't have anything to complain about regarding that transaction.

I haven't bought a gun from them but did talk seriously with them last year before finding something locally. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone.

That price on the CDL Whelen is good (about $120 less than mine cost me last year from Grice when the Whelen was a Grice exclusive item). No gripe about Grice either - the price was fair, they let me look at several and pick which one I liked, and I love the rifle.
