My cousin just traded me his almost brand new remington m700 sps 7mmremmag for my like new marlin 917 .17hmr. Did i get a deal or what? He still had it with the factory box, only shot 20 rounds thru it. reason for trade was its too much gun to his liking. He said hed stick with his .243win. Some people dont know what they have huh?

Go get another inexpensive rifle and tell your cousin to try a marlin 45/70, mabye you can get another good trade.

Working out of town , living in a motel with other guys. I had one of those cheapo (Corbray (sp))derringers in 45 LC/410 I had paid $60 for. Showed it to a guy I was working with, he fell in love and had to have one. I told him next gun show he could get one for $60.

A few hours later he shows up at my door wanting to trade. He has a CZ 9MM, extra clip and a case he wants to trade straight across with. I tell him " gosh Gus you can get one for $60" he says " I don't care I don't want the 9MM and I really want the derringer and heck with the gun show and I got the CZ for $200 anyway used.

What could I say? We traded and I have the CZ to this day and it works perfect.

What, no guilt at all... he was family!
