but this one is a .358 winchester. Got what i think is a very good deal on it too.
On another forum I have a thread where some guys that know there savages alot more than I have come to the conclusion that is is known as a sadle gun. Matt bluing a williams peep.
It has the counter and all and it works fine.
Its drilled and tapped from the factory, but I might just leave it alone.
Someone did somthing crazy to the peep sight, it apears they home made an apiture that I would like to get out of there.
Gonna go to the hardware store and see what I can find,like a tap or a small easy out.
If the threads are all buggerd up I will get a decent midsized apiture and use blue locktite.
With that strait stock she might bit a little, but thats ok.
If I don't like shooting it It make great trade bait.
