Low WallThat's great Mr. Miller!...Just ordered one for myself today...was told it should be in sometime around Aug. or Sept..

...Looking forward to pictures and a range report...Brass can be had at
www.huntingtons.com You may want to check which brass is stronger RWS or Norma or if they are the same ....I have read that RWS is better but also heard the they are the same in quality...

Loaded factory ammo?...I have no clue.

LRH270Uh, let's see.....
Ordered TWO from two different gun stores here about 14 months ago.
Got tired of waiting so I had Gary Reeder build one.
Went deer hunting with it last fall.
Should I be waiting by the phone?

pinotguyCongrats on the new rifle. Great platform in a great caliber. As far as ammo goes, check out Midway as they have quite a few offerings: A-Square, Nosler, and Norma. The new Hornady load should be available soon as well.
Congrats... I think you'll find that Cabelas also carries the Norma factory ammo....

MikelravyLet us know what you think after you get it. I'm interested in this or maybe the 450-400 for something different to play with.

I've been shooting the 9.3x74R since the 70's and IMHO the RWS brass blows the Norma brass out of the water!!!
I've "heard" that Norma "sometimes" used RWS brass in there factory loads, but i've yet to see that mnyself...

JJ_MillerI'm back from the dealer, is looks are any indication it will be a damn fine shooter. It has what I would grade as XXX Walnut on the stock and forearm. Its on the sporter frame so its light and lively to the touch. As soon as the little brown truck comes I will get a range report up.................................JJ
