416Tanzan270 Win and 7mmRM-what's not to like?
Does anyone have the article or chapter from a book where Jack O'C specifically discussed the 270/7RM/3006/300WM as a quartet? I read that once, thirty years ago and it had pictures of recoil included.

WstrnhuntrGot rid of my 7mm Rm several years ago, made some of the most spectacular shots in my life with that rifle, but just decided I didnt really need all that horsepower.
So I am working with this 7X57 I built, loving it, but I do believe that the 280 Rem is probably my favorite round on the planet. SO once in a while I consider the fact that all I would need is a reamer, already have the dies, brass, headspace gages.. BUT! The results I am getting with this amazing, antiquated little 57mm round is so damn good that there really is no point..
Then I see this M-70 270 W in pristine condition for a smoking deal. Yes, it followed me home..
What's not to like? Sometimes I still look at the old 7mm RM brass I still have and go Hmmm..
Screw it, Im going hunting..
