Re-chambering
I have a 7mm RUM that I want to re-chamber to a 300 RUM. Can a good gunsmith drill out the barrel to .308? I do not have any exprince with this kind of thing. Thanks

Yes, your barrel can be re-bored.

I recommend you make a post on the Gunsmithing Forum and ask about technical & economic aspects of reboring vs rebarreling. Also ask for recommendations of who to use for reboring.
