AfrikaanderLooking for Coveralls
I am looking for a good coverall mainly to be used in winter (very cold temperatures), it has to be waterproof (thou should preferably allow perspiration to escape), tough and quiet ...
so far I have found three that might meet my needs:
http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/sta...cat600822&hasJS=truehttp://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/sta...ex&indexId=cat600822http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/sta...cat600822&hasJS=trueWhich one would you choose and why? If anyone might know of any other better still please let me know about it (my budget is something around 200 USD)
Size must be at least 2XL (3XL better)
Thank you all in advance

CanuckYou don't see too many backpacker's in cover-alls. You might want to try the Big Game Hunting forum too, if you haven't already. Plus, there is a lot more general traffic there.
Cheers,
Canuck

scr83jpFriends we met in Colorado for the November Elk & Deer hunts wore the same insulated Carhartt coveralls they wear for their hardwood logging operation in PA.

LorenzoFor hunting pigs at night from a blind I use ALWAYS my Cabela's Dry Plus Coverall. Buy one at least one number larger just in case you want to add some more underwear.
Great equipment which has make the difference between feeling miserable at 3 am to really enjoy spending the night outside. I also use a pair of their boots with 1,300 gr of thinsulate. When the weather is really nasty I also use a fleece underwear.

Our friends wear the duck coveralls in very inclimate winter weather in PA while felling & loading trees and while hunting deer and bear,in Colorado they all wore the duck coveralls hunting Elk & Mule Deer in snow, rain, etc.
