StoneybrokeSnee Dealers?
Anyone know of Snee has any retail dealers in the east? I'd like to try a pair of their pacs, but have had poor results mail ordering boots. Thanks, Stoney

AlaskenIf you're talking about Schnee's, just give them a call. Great company to deal with. I don't think they have dealers anywhere, but could be wrong about that. I've had their 16" pacs for 6 or 7 years and love them.

Frans DiepstratenI visited their store twice, I agree on the sentiment that buying boots on-line is a bit of a gamble. I ended up with their hunter model a full size larger than I normally wear. Still, I love the boots, maybe you should try one more time...? Call, and discuss sizes.

Paul TunkisReally good product. Of course since I live 20 minutes from the store it's easy to try on a pair. Anyway, You might try ordering 2 or 3 pairs "bracketing" your size. Return those that are not a perfect fit. Make sure you wear the sock system you intend to wear while out hiking around.
And speaking of socks: I've been using Gator Sock neophrene socks inside my pacs for years and they will keep your feet warmer than any other method I've tried. They work becasue the liners of the boots never get wet with sweat. You have to try this.

KC CarlinSportmans Wearhouse sells a "cheaper" version of the pac boot. It is still a Schnees's but is made oversees, and cannot be rebuilt like the boots made in MT.
