Re: .357 Magnum Loads
Gas checks are probably not needed until you get into higher velocities.
You could try a plain base cast bullet from Oregon Trail/ silver bullet. Maybe check some local gun shops and see what they carry. The shipping on bullets can add to the price considerably, so buying them at a local shop might be a smarter bet. You should be able to get a box of 500 for around $20-25ish.

I'M WITH RECONO ON THIS ONE.......I'VE USED BULLSEYE EXCLUSIVE FOR .357 MAG AND .38 SPL CAST BULLETS LOADS......I USE 6 GRS. B.E. FOR MAGNUM LOADS AND 3-3.5 GRS FOR .38 SPL LOADS.... MY REVOLVER IS A S&W MODEL 27.....AS THE REST OF THEM SAID ALWAYS CHECK WITH A GOOD LIGHT FOR DOUBLE LOADS........ESPECIALLY WITH BULLSEYE!!!

THE 2ND AMENDMENT PROTECTS US ALL.....
